Dr. Barrett graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. During medical school, she went to London to study neurology at the famed "Queen's Square." She also spent a summer working at a hospital in Jamaica.

Dr. Barrett attended Smith College as an undergraduate, where she earned a BA in Honors Psychology. She performed neuroscience research concerning the thalamus, one of the deep structures of the brain. She also spent a summer at Kennedy Space Center studying aerospace medicine.

Dr Barrett’s goal with each and every patient is to take the time needed to ensure they understand their healthcare and are comfortable at all times. She understands that there is not a “box” solution for all patients, and each patient needs individual care and has their own set of concerns. Dr Barrett’s goal is to make sure those concerns are met and the patient is receiving state of the art healthcare.

In addition to neurology, Christine has worked in primary care and asthma/allergy specialty practices. Prior to becoming a PA, she worked in the field of Sports Medicine and Physical Rehabilitation. She is pleased to bring her previous experience to Rocky Mountain Neurology. While Christine has been here at Rocky Mountain Neurology she has been seeing new patients and typically sees most of our follow up patients. She also performs EMG testing in conjunction with Dr. Barrett. Dr. Barrett and Christine believe in having a close relationship to ensure you get sound patient care every step of the way.

Christine takes pride in providing excellent healthcare to her patients. She believes in personalized care. Christine will take the time needed to find out her patient’s concerns, and answer all of their questions. Her goal is to teach her patients ways to improve their health and to increase their quality of life.
