Amelia Scott Barrett, MD completed her Neurology residency at Stanford University in 1999. Since that time, she has been in private practice in Denver, CO. She opened her office at Sky Ridge Medical Center in November of 2003. Dr. Barrett is a general neurologist, which means that she treats all types of neurological disorders. She particularly enjoys performing EMG/NCS to diagnose conditions such as carpal tunnel, peripheral neuropathy, cervical & lumbar radiculopathy (i.e., a pinched nerve in the neck or lower back). In addition, she has specialized training in using botox to treat migraines and chronic neck or lower back pain
Dr. Barrett graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. During medical school, she went to London to study neurology at the famed "Queen's Square." She also spent a summer working at a hospital in Jamaica.
Dr. Barrett attended Smith College as an undergraduate, where she earned a BA in Honors Psychology. She performed neuroscience research concerning the thalamus, one of the deep structures of the brain. She also spent a summer at Kennedy Space Center studying aerospace medicine.
Dr Barrett¡¯s goal with each and every patient is to take the time needed to ensure they understand their healthcare and are comfortable at all times. She understands that there is not a ¡°box¡± solution for all patients, and each patient needs individual care and has their own set of concerns. Dr Barrett¡¯s goal is to make sure those concerns are met and the patient is receiving state of the art healthcare.

Dr. Daniel Jordan Kitei, D.O., M.A. is a double board-certified and fellowship-trained neurologist who focuses on providing outpatient services,
consultations, and EMG testing. He completed his Fellowship Training at Harvard Medical School in Boston and is Board Certified in Neurology as
well as Neuromuscular Medicine.
His areas of specialty include neuromuscular diseases such as neuropathy, neurodiagnostics such as NCS/EMG testing, nerve injuries and entrapments
such as carpal tunnel syndrome, spinal disease, and all areas of general neurology. He obtained his Master's Degree in Global Medicine before starting
Medical School because of his interest in the Mind/Body connection and was appointed Chief Resident at the University of Connecticut Neurology
Residency. He also obtained extra neuromuscular training at Stanford University and The University of California at San Francisco.
Dr. Kitei's caring nature and attention to detail make patients feel at ease, and he enjoys taking time to educate patients and thoroughly answer
their questions. He loves outdoor activities and spending time with his family.

Amanda Curry has been working in the healthcare
industry since 2005. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from North Dakota State University and also obtained
certification as a Paramedic. Prior to coming to Rocky Mountain Neurology Amanda worked as an Office Manager for a family
practice and the American Society of Bariatric Physicians.
Here at Rocky Mountain Neurology Amanda is our practice manager, she handles all of our patient's administrative needs as well as scheduling.
Amanda strives on a daily basis to make patients feel comfortable and welcomed while in our office.
